Treat cloud work as a new environment

A colleague working in another room needs a work order, access to the right tools, and a clear return path. Cursor Cloud Agents similarly run in isolated cloud environments rather than inside your local editor process. The official Cloud Agents documentation describes cloned repositories, dependencies, startup commands, network access, and secrets as parts of that environment. The same Agent fundamentals apply, but the environment is not automatically identical to your laptop. D5 is therefore a handoff exercise. The worksheet does not launch a Cloud Agent, connect source control, or prove that any remote test ran.

The fictional booking-status change from D4 is half finished locally. A cloud task cannot infer which uncommitted files you meant to send or which local service was available. State the base revision, the branch or work item, the files included, and any local changes deliberately excluded. If the cloud environment cannot access the exact input state, stop instead of letting Agent implement against an assumed copy. A clean base plus explicit patch or branch reference is easier to review than “continue where I left off.” The receiving agent needs a reproducible starting point, not a story about your screen.
